Celebrating Melinda's Wondrous Healing!

Today is one month from the day that my daughter was in a very bad car accident, rolling over several times in her Nissan Altima. She had gotten a promotion and raise, transferred to Lubbock with the retail store she was working in. She'd only been there a month 1/2. She'd broken her cell phone the day before and called me and told me she was coming, for me not to tell anybody as she wanted to surprise everybody. She called her one sister, Jackie, in the morning 7:30 am MST, 8:30 am her time and said she was heading out. I prayed for her all day as I knew she'd be traveling alone. I asked her to please make sure she took the time to stop and rest and not to try to make the whole trip without resting. At 12:00 pm our time, Jackie, called me and told me she was really worried for her sister and I tried to remain calm and told her, it's lunch time, maybe she stopped to get a bite to eat. Just Pray, Jackie and don't worry. I kept praying and asking God to Keep His Hand upon her and bring her home safely. Little did we know that at that very moment, Melinda had fallen asleep at the wheel and rolled over several times in her car.
We got a phone call at 4:00 pm from the doctor at the hospital in Santa Rosa. They'd called my daughter, Jackie who called me on my cell as the doctor would not give her any info till he got me on the line. I heard him say that my daughter, Melinda had been in a very bad roll over and he feared she might be bleeding internally in her brain and that he was going to have her flown to UNM Hospital and that my daughter should be at UNM Hospital in 45 minutes. I called my husband who was already in Albuquerque to get over to the hospital. All 3 of my daughters headed over to the hospital in their cars and my son drove with me in my car. I called my Pastor and as many friends as I could in 3 minutes to start praying for my daughter. When we got to the hospital, we could not locate my daughter. They ER told me that they didn't have my daughter and finally a nurse told us to go to ICU Trauma on 2nd floor. When we got up there, the docs said they were evaluating Melinda and that she was in a coma but that she was not bleeding internally and that it would just be a matter of time. That was Wednesday, by Monday, she had woken up and by Sunday, she was walking. The doctors were amazed! All I can say is, 'God is Faithful and soo Good!'
It has been quite an experience and as I have seen the miraculous healing of my daughter, I am in awe of God's Mercy & Lovingkindness!
I, even I, am the LORD, and apart from Me, There is no savior. I have revealed and saved and proclaimed— I, and not some foreign god among you. You are my witnesses,” declares the LORD, “that I am God.” Isaiah 43:11-12

Are your customers your "Raving Fans"?

Most business people know that getting a new customer is much more expensive than selling to an existing customer, so by continuing to sell to them, we are really saving ourselves money. Most clients I meet are not leveraging their existing customer database, and by not doing so, are losing out on a cost effective source of potential new business. Many receive referrals - for which they are grateful - but it's not because they actively sought the referral, or had a strategy in place to ask for it.

Reward them for being Loyal
Loyalty Marketing Programs are designed to create loyalty and increase sales from your best customers. When properly designed and consistently implemented, loyalty programs provide a vital link between your business and your customers, Improving Customer Satisfaction and Increasing Sales. Here are some commonly used ideas for creating your own Loyalty Program:
* preferable rates for loyal customers
* provide bonus product or service if they have bought before
* programs that promote multiple purchases (buy 3 and get the 4th free)
* Points program - each purchase is worth points. When they earn a certain number of
points they get a reward of some kind

Ask for Feedback
If you don't know what your customer thinks about you, your business, your product and your services, then you might as well close shop.
People will endorse your business not because they think it looks good, but because they know it is good. If they have problems with your services, customers are the best source of objective advice on how to make improvements. So have a process in place where you regularly ask them for feedback. And once they've given it to you, let them know how you are going to use it. They will begin to feel involved in your business, and are more likely to send other people your way.

Thank them for referrals - every time
Finding a way to thank your customers for referrals lets them know that you value them for their efforts. It makes them feel recognized, and it reinforces the behavior so they consider referring to you again. A thank you can be as simple as a hand written card, sent through the mail, to a set of movie tickets, a voucher, or even just a phone call.

There are so many ways that we can go one step further with the people who already buy from us. Make this a focus of your marketing efforts and you will soon see the rewards come back in the form of increased referrals and increased sales.

What is Fear Keeping You From Doing?

Most of us, just like the Heroes Shakespeare used in his writings have character flaws. These stories can teach us important lessons. Just as in one of the Heroes of the Bible, Abraham, the Father of our Faith, who's flaw was Fear. In Genesis 12:11-20, He yielded to his Fear that a ruler would kill him and steal his wife; and again in Genesis 20:2-13. Fearing for his life, he deceived both Pharoah and King Abimelech.
Because of this Fear he put at risk, God's plan that thru he and Sarah a great nation would arise, Genesis 12:1-3:
Now the LORD had said to Abram:
" Get out of your country,
   From your family
And from your father’s house,
To a land that I will show you.
I will make you a great nation;
I will bless you
And make your name Great;
And you shall be a Blessing.
  I will Bless those who Bless you,
And I will curse him who curses you;
And in you All the families of the earth shall be Blessed.”

But before we judge Abraham, let's ask ourselves these questions.
For Fear of losing our job or business, do we compromise our Integrity? For Fear of appearing old-fashioned, do we set aside our values and morals? For fear of being ridiculed or misunderstood, do we neglect to share the Gospel and put someone's Eternity at risk?
The Only Thing that Will Conquer our Fears is Tenacious Faith in God's Presence, Protection, Power and Promises!
Do not let Fear put God's Wonderful Plans for You at Risk! Remember that He will never ask you to do anything that He will not bring to Completion, even if it requires His Miraculous Intervention as I can attest to!
Let Your Faith Overcome Your Fear and God will Turn Your Worry to Worship!

I am determined to start my day with Gratitude for all the Lord God has blessed me with beginning with a sound mind, my five children, 3 grandsons and my husband, my parents who are still living, my sisters and brothers, friends, my business and most of all for God's Grace, Mercy & Lovingkindness!
I remember reading an article in Success Magazine about 'Being Happy'! One of the things they found as they interviewed happy people was "Happy people let Love Lead their Lives"!
People who are Happy have the same fears, dissapointments, frustrations as anybody else, but rather than dwell on these things, they focus on Gratitude, what they do have and are thankful for! They have a 'nourishing support system' in other words 'friends & family' ! They take the time to develop and  build relationship!
The other things of course, we all know, Exercise, Eating Right and Getting Enough Sleep will help our Attitude & Mindset!

Diligence Keeps Going While Frustration Gives Up

We've all had days, times or even seasons in our lives that everything seems to be going wrong! Circumstances in Life can be Discouraging, and you feel like just throwing in the towel!
What I have found to be True is if I will diligently work through problems and challenges in my business and personal life, I can experience Life Changing Lessons! Adversity can Strengthen and Build our Character and help us help others!
To work with diligence is Essential to every facet of our Spiritual and Physical Life!

God Works All Things Out For Good for Those Who Love Him...

I've gone thru a lot of transitioning: First the Mother of my neices, (my brother's daughters) was in a fatal accident. One of my neices had to have surgery on her hip. She walks with a little bit of a limp and is lucky she is alive after flying out of the sunroof of the car.

Then my half-brother, (my Father's son from second marriage) passed on and is in heaven with our Lord. Tragically not yet 35 years old; he was an alcoholic and was addicted to drugs. God was so awesome in His Mercy & Lovingkindness as He gave Isaac the opportunity to get his Heart Right with God and spend his last days with his family. He was in & out of the hospital for about a month. His last days, my nephew and neices and his sisters brought their guitars and we sang hymns and praises to God. On the last day, the nurses who were like Angels, helped create a book for his two daughters and son with Isaac's handprints and theirs. During his last hours as he passed on peacefully, we sang Praises unto God. It was Glorious as we could feel the presence of God in the room. Truly God showed Himself True to His Word that He Works All Things Out For Good For Those Who Love Him.
